Here at Stanton Park Healthcare the Medicaid Eligibility Specialistis primarily responsible for completing Community Medicaid applications and re-certifications on behalf of our patients, reconciling/distributing daily census, and obtaining Medicaid approval Form 1445 for BridgePoint Outpatient and SNF residents. Also, the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist position will interact closely with family members and various government agencies including the Department of Human Services, Social Security Administration, and Veteran's Administration.
Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred. Basic knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations required.
Licenses/Certification: N/A
Experience: Complete understanding of the Federal, State, Local laws, regulations, and guidelines that governs the administration of the Medical Assistance Programs in D.C., Maryland, Virginia.
