Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Medicaid Eligibility Product Owner to lead the state backlog for eligibility and enrollment systems. You will translate MAGI/non-MAGI rules into epics and acceptance criteria, and partner with policy and tech teams to deliver timely, accurate decisions for members.

You will work with Scrum teams to refine, review, and accept work, ensuring alignment with policy intent and state requirements, while monitoring metrics like timeliness and renewal rates.

Qualifications

5+ years leading government or healthcare product ownership/backlog
3+ years in Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, or integrated systems
Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria

Responsibilities

Own and prioritize the Medicaid eligibility backlog across MAGI/non-MAGI rules
Translate policy into epics, stories, and acceptance criteria
Lead impact analysis for new federal/state requirements
Partner with state staff to clarify rules and document decisions
Collaborate with Scrum Masters, developers, testers, and BAs through sprint cycles
Support user acceptance testing with state staff
Coordinate with SNAP, MMIS, and managed care programs
Track outcomes and adjust priorities based on performance metrics
Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to leadership
