Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is hiring on-site at Tower - Reading Hospital in West Reading, PA for a role supporting uninsured patients through Medicaid eligibility and related financial assistance programs.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in healthcare, understands revenue cycle, and can communicate effectively with patients. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. CRCR certification is encouraged and tuition/ certification support is provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare interacting with patients on hospital financial issues.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments and denials.
• Knowledge of health insurance requirements and CPT/procedure codes.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review uninsured/under-insured patients for program eligibility opportunities and coordinate the application process.
• Communicate with patients to obtain documents required for the application.
• Follow submitted applications to determination point and ensure timely billing/adjustment posting.
• Document all actions in patient accounting systems.
• Maintain knowledge of state/federal program requirements and share with colleagues.
• Collaborate with county/state/federal Medicaid caseworkers and other revenue cycle departments.
