Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Customer Service Representative - Eligibility Specialist (ES) to handle high-volume inbound calls about Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF. You will process applications, perform case maintenance, and resolve client issues with empathy and accuracy.

The role is onsite in Jeffersonville, IN with hours 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and a base rate of $18.00 per hour. Maximus offers comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven customer support or Client Service Representative experience preferred.
• Ability to handle complex service inquiries via telephone.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess, and screen applications, communicating with clients to collect missing information.
• Validate and calculate income, assess eligibility, and manage case referrals.
• Engage regularly with program participants to ensure continuity of services and eligibility.
