Ensemble is seeking a detail-oriented professional for an on-site role at NCH - Baker Hospital in Naples, FL. The position involves interviewing uninsured/under-insured patients to determine Medicaid eligibility and to facilitate the application process, ensuring timely submissions and accurate documentation.

Minimum 1–2 years in healthcare, strong revenue cycle understanding, and knowledge of insurance processes are preferred.

Competenze

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare industry, interacting with patients regarding hospital financial issues.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments and denials.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient insurance process for obtaining authorizations and benefits verification.
• Knowledge of Health Insurance requirements and CPT/procedure codes.
• Patient Access experience with managed care/insurance; Call Center experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Review referred uninsured/under-insured patients for program eligibility and coordinate the application process.
• Communicate with patients to obtain required documents for the application.
• Update insurance information and ensure timely billing or adjustment posting.
• Document all actions and communications in patient accounting systems.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal program requirements; collaborate with Medicaid caseworkers.
• Develop relationships with county/state/federal partners and other revenue cycle departments.
