Ensemble Health Partners is hiring for a Public Benefit Specialist on-site at NCH - Baker Hospital in Naples, FL. Candidates should have 1–2 years in healthcare, knowledge of revenue cycle processes, and familiarity with insurance requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare industry, interacting with patients regarding hospital financial issues.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments and denials.
• Knowledge of Health Insurance requirements. Knowledge of medical terminology or CPT or procedure codes. CRCR within 9 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Interview uninsured/under-insured patients to determine Medicaid eligibility or Financial Assistance program.
• Assist with application processes for accurate submissions and follow-up to ensure timely billing or adjustments.
• Document actions and communications in patient accounting systems and maintain knowledge of state/federal program requirements.
