Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking personnel to interview uninsured or under-insured patients to determine Medicaid eligibility and assist with financial assistance applications. You will coordinate submissions and monitor timely billing adjustments while maintaining detailed records.

Role requires knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, insurance verification, and collaboration with Medicaid caseworkers and other departments to ensure compliant processing and patient support in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum years and type of experience: 1-2 years in healthcare industry, interacting with patients regarding hospital financial issues.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments and denials.
• Knowledge of Health Insurance requirements and medical terminology or CPT codes.

Responsibilities

• Interview uninsured/under-insured patients to determine eligibility for Medicaid or Financial Assistance programs.
• Assist with application processes to facilitate submissions and ensure timely billing or adjustments.
• Document all actions and communications in patient accounting systems.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal program requirements and work with Medicaid caseworkers and other revenue cycle departments.
