Job summary

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Iowa Medicaid Division, seeks a Medicaid Contract Manager to lead contract oversight, ensure vendor compliance, and manage performance reporting. You will draft reports, facilitate oversight meetings, and coordinate with legal and fiscal teams to address performance issues.

As the primary liaison for vendor contracts, you will develop corrective action plans, communicate expectations, and monitor progress while collaborating with DOM Do-IT

Qualifications

• Eight years of procurement/contract administration experience or equivalent.
• Experience reviewing contract requirements and ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Ability to prepare and present performance reports to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vendor contracts as the primary point of contact for compliance.
• Analyze vendor reports to ensure contractual compliance and performance.
• Draft and present ad hoc or scheduled performance reports.
• Lead vendor oversight meetings and communicate outcomes.
• Collaborate across HHS and state agencies to ensure governance.
• Develop corrective actions and monitor progress through to resolution.
