The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services - Medicaid Division is seeking a Medicaid Contract Manager to serve as the primary point for vendor contract oversight and approval of all aspects of vendor pre and post contract implementation.

Responsibilities include analyzing ad hoc and scheduled reports for contractual compliance, drafting performance reports, conducting oversight meetings, developing agendas, and coordinating with DHS and other state agencies to ensure governance processes

Formación

• Eight years of full-time work experience in procurement of technical items or services procurement and contract administration, including review of ongoing contract compliance.
• Graduation from accredited four-year college with degree in business, public administration, accounting, or economics and four years of related procurement/contract administration experience.
• Total eight years of education/experience with alignment of coursework to procurement responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide primary vendor contract oversight for Medicaid contracts.
• Analyze ad hoc and scheduled vendor reports to ensure contractual compliance.
• Draft and present performance reports defining progress, problems, solutions or contingencies.
• Conduct ad hoc and formal vendor oversight meetings; prepare agendas and communicate expectations.
• Identify issues, document decisions, and communicate agreements and performance expectations.
• Collaborate with HHS and other state agencies to ensure governance processes are followed.
• Identify compliance issues and propose corrective actions; initiate plans up to termination if needed.
• Prepare written notices of non-compliance and monitor corrective actions.
• Prepare reports summarizing vendor progress and compliance for various audiences.
