Aged, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to guide individuals with special needs through SSI-Related Medicaid applications and recertifications.

The role focuses on Medicaid programs serving elderly and disabled individuals, including documentation, eligibility determinations, and coordination with clients, advocates, and professionals. You will maintain accurate case records, communicate with stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience submitting Medicaid online applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Detail oriented with organized records.
• Proactive and independent with escalation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete Medicaid applications and recertifications online.
• Manage assigned caseload from start to resolution.
• Review Medicaid notices and coordinate with clients and professionals.
• Develop knowledge of Medicaid eligibility for the elderly and disabled.
• Document communications and maintain case records.
• Interface with DCF staff and other portals.
• Identify issues and suggest process improvements.
• Assist with development of procedures and training materials.
• Maintain organized client files and CRM updates.
• Other duties as requested.
