Aged, Inc. is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to guide individuals with special needs through SSI-Related Medicaid applications and recertifications. You will manage a caseload, review notices, and ensure eligibility in coordination with clients, advocates, and professionals.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, ongoing eligibility review, and potential growth into leadership tasks. This in-office position values patient communication, collaboration, and initiative in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Experience submitting Medicaid applications online, minimum 1 year.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; relay complex information clearly.
• Professional telephone presence with strong active listening; patient with clients.

Responsibilities

• Complete Medicaid applications and recertifications with documents uploaded to portals.
• Manage caseload from application to decision (approval/denial/recertification).
• Review Medicaid notices and coordinate with clients/advocates to resolve documentation issues.
• Develop knowledge of eligibility requirements affecting elderly and disabled individuals.
• Communicate with clients, families, professionals via phone, email, or in person.
• Document client communications and update CRM and files accurately.
• Maintain organized case records and databases.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Must be pet friendly.
