Job summary

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Media Relations & Communications Coordinator to support Honda Marine and Power Equipment press operations, coordinate media loans, and manage on-site media interactions.

You will liaise with journalists, influencers, and brand ambassadors, arrange logistics and ensure accurate brand messaging at events such as boat shows and product launches. The role requires 2+ years in PR, strong product knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office;

Qualifications

• 2+ years in public relations, media relations, or marketing (powersports/marine preferred).
• Solid mechanical understanding of internal combustion engines and marine/power equipment products.
• Comfortable speaking to large groups and working with journalists and influencers.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and safely load/unload equipment at events.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Engage with media outlets and brand ambassadors to promote Honda products.
• Oversee press vehicle inventory, forecasting and ordering units for media loans.
• Coordinate transportation logistics and scheduling equipment pickups.
• Review agency press releases and technical media materials for brand consistency.
• Deliver on-site media support at trade shows, boat shows, and product launches.
