Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior media leader to drive strategy and planning across US and Canadian markets. You will coordinate multi-channel media plans with agency teams, establish KPIs, and forecast performance to optimize investments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience in media planning, media buying, campaign management, or advertising.
  • Understanding of US and Canadian media landscapes, trends, and audience diversity.
  • Strong media agency experience and multi-channel campaign execution expertise.
  • Advanced expertise in digital media strategies, media measurement, and data management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead media strategy and planning across US and Canadian markets.
  • Develop and rationalize media plans across digital and traditional channels with media agency teams.
  • Establish measurement KPIs and performance forecasts with the agency.
  • Coordinate campaign setup, launch timelines, creative asset delivery, and trafficking requirements.
  • Monitor campaign delivery and pacing to ensure media investments activate as intended.
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for agency partners on campaign execution and status updates.
  • Support campaign changes, adjustments, and optimization throughout the lifecycle.
  • Collect post-campaign results, learnings, and optimization opportunities.
  • Coordinate interactions between internal marketing teams and agency partners.
  • Prepare materials for planning meetings, status calls, and reviews; track actions.
  • Communicate campaign updates, timelines, and performance results to stakeholders.
  • Escalate risks, delays, or execution issues to leadership.
  • Support collaboration with brand, creative, analytics, and finance teams.
  • Lead MMM data preparation and data-cleaning processes.
  • Lead global rollout of planning tool development, adoption, governance, and best-practices.

Job description

  • Report to the Global Head of Media, Content and Digital Transformation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 6 years of experience in media planning, media buying, campaign management, or advertising
  • Understanding of US and Canadian media landscapes, trends, and audience diversity
  • Strong media agency experience and expertise in multi-channel campaign execution
  • Advertiser-side experience is a strong advantage
  • Advanced expertise in digital media strategies, media measurement, and data management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and execution capabilities
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in beauty, beverage, automotive, or other premium consumer industries is preferred
