Job description

The purpose of the Media Supervisor role is to support the Planning & Strategy Director in translating the overarching media strategy into an effective tactical plan and helping see that plan through to completion.

What You’ll Do
  • Support client service and account management in media strategy and planning.
  • Support local and cross‑channel media campaign planning across broadcast, digital, social, programmatic, search, and direct publisher partners
  • Collaborate closely with strategy, activation, and analytics teams to ensure accurate campaign setup and execution
  • QA campaign details prior to launch to ensure accuracy across budgets, dates, targeting, and placements
  • Input and maintain campaign budgets, flighting, and vendor details within agency systems and billing platforms
  • Monitor budget pacing and support updates or adjustments throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to campaign investments and approvals
  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with vendors, finance teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Serve as a day‑to‑day point of contact for media partners regarding campaign execution, billing, and reconciliation questions
  • Track and manage multiple concurrent workstreams across campaigns, vendors, and markets
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of digital tools and platform opportunities facilitating the integration of insights and capabilities into the media planning and execution processes.
  • Manage timelines by working alongside internal activation teams, external vendors, and larger cross-agency teams.
  • Prepare flowcharts and budgets for media plan development and maintenance, coordinate delivery of media plans and applicable assets, and ensure activation and creative teams are apprised of changes to the plan.
  • Translate dense audience insights and tactical plans into digestible client presentations.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 3-5 Years industry Experience
  • Experience in local and cross‑channel media planning and campaign execution
  • Hands‑on experience inputting and managing budgets and campaigns within agency systems like MediaOcean/Prisma
  • Familiarity with client billing processes, insertion orders (IOs), and invoice reconciliation
  • Media Planning/Strategy Experience Required, Activation Experience is a bonus
  • Agency Experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of cross-channel media capabilities and measurement solutions
  • Experience with other media planning and data insight tools such as Kantar, Stat Social, Helixa, Mintel, WARC, Placer.ai, etc. a bonus
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills, with experience managing complex internal and external relationships, client/team correspondence, and internal documentation.
  • Independent self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through who has experience multi-tasking across multiple competing priorities and projects to meet various client and internal deadlines
  • A strategic thinker who asks thoughtful questions and is eager to find opportunities to answer them with insights, analysis, and data
  • A love of media – and the motivation to learn and keep up with industry trends and emerging platforms
