University of the Pacific’s AMPD Department seeks a Media Technology & Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day readiness of facilities, equipment rooms, and production infrastructure, reporting to the AMPD Chair. The role blends hands-on operations with coordination, budget awareness, and service coordination with campus units and external providers.

You will supervise student workers, manage inventory, coordinate safety procedures, and support departmental events.

Formación

• Technical degree/certificate or bachelor’s degree related to the field.
• Three years of progressive facilities/technical operations or related experience.
• Experience supervising and coordinating employees or student workers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day readiness of facilities and production spaces.
• Manage Equipment Room, inventory, and student workers.
• Coordinate maintenance, safety procedures, and service with providers.
• Track purchases, budgeting, and vendor contracts for operations.
