Job summary

University of the Pacific in Stockton seeks a Manager for Building Operations, responsible for daily facility readiness, inspections, and coordination with the team to maintain safe, fully operational environments for the School of Dentistry.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, manage events and exams, develop capital equipment replacement plans, and administer a web-based work order system, while mentoring staff and preparing annual budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' administrative experience in facilities.
• Minimum of three years of prior manager/supervision experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, facilities management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily building inspections to identify and resolve deficiencies.
• Oversee repairs, replacements, and maintenance scheduling with vendors.
• Manage building operations to support all events and exams.
• Assist with capital equipment replacement planning.
• Manage a web-based work order/maintenance system.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for equipment use.
• Analyze training needs and oversee staff training.
• Prepare annual departmental budget with the Director.
