Job summary

University of the Pacific is seeking an AMPD Media Technology & Facilities Manager in Stockton, CA. The role ensures operational readiness of AMPD facilities, manages the Equipment Room, inventories, and coordinates services with IT and outside providers. It also supports departmental events and budgets.

The position reports to the AMPD Chair and involves hands-on operations and administrative duties, including supervising student workers and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination.
• Experience in facilities operations, production or media spaces.
• Ability to supervise student workers and coordinate vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day readiness of instructional and production spaces.
• Coordinate room setup, access, and equipment readiness for activities.
• Maintain equipment inventory, records, and maintenance history.
• Supervise student workers and ensure service standards.
• Coordinate with IT, Facilities, vendors, and service providers.
• Support safety training and enforce safety procedures.
