Job summary

Paramount in New York, NY, seeks a Media Coordinator to drive media management workflows across high-volume production environments. You will ingest, organize, transfer, and archive media for editorial teams, leveraging on-prem and cloud systems and coordinating with production, editorial, and technology groups.

You will help implement AI-driven metadata tools, support live streaming workflows, and ensure scalable, efficient media operations across internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in media management or post-production operations.
• Strong communication in dynamic production environments.
• Expertise in editorial workflows and media formats/codecs.
• Experience with Avid, Adobe Premiere, and other editing platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud storage and file-transfer systems.
• Experience with MAM/DAM and digital archives workflows.
• Knowledge of AI-driven metadata tools and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with teams across productions and facilities.
• Enforce standards for media ingest, organization, and workflows.
• Oversee media preparation for editorial including proxies.
• Manage media transfers using enterprise tools.
• Plan workflows, storage strategies, and delivery requirements.
• Drive AI-based metadata workflow adoption to improve search.
• Support live and near-live production workflows including streaming.
• Oversee review and approval workflows and cross-team collaboration.
• Provide escalation support for media workflow issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize performance and scalability.
• Support on-site productions and events with DIT setups and streaming.
