Job summary

Paramount Pictures in New York, NY is seeking a Media Coordinator to join the Editorial Post Production Operations team. You will execute media management workflows across Paramount's global ecosystem, ingesting, organizing, transferring, preparing, and archiving media for on-premises and cloud environments as well as live streaming systems.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in media management, post-production operations, live stream tech, or related roles.
• Strong communication skills in dynamic production environments.
• Expertise in editorial workflows and media formats/codecs.
• Experience with Avid, Adobe Premiere, and/or other professional editing platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud storage platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and file transfer systems (Signiant/Media Shuttle, Aspera).
• Experience with MAM/DAM systems and digital archive workflows.
• Working knowledge of AI-driven metadata tools and workflow automation.
• Ability to manage multiple productions and priorities simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel and support on-site production workflows as needed and to cover off-hours needs.

• Oversee review and approval workflows and ensure efficient collaboration across teams.
• Provide guidance and escalation support for technical issues impacting media workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to optimize performance and scalability.
• Support on-site productions and events, including setup of DIT environments, live stream implementation, and field workflows.

Overview
Paramount: A Skydance Corporation is seeking a Media Coordinator to join the Editorial Post Production Operations (EPPO) Media Management & Archives team within Production Technology and Operations. This role is responsible for executing media management workflows supporting high-volume, multi-brand production environments across Paramount's global ecosystem. Based in New York, this position partners closely with production, editorial, and technology teams to ensure media is proficiently ingested, organized, transferred, prepared, and archived across both on-premises and cloud-based environments as well as live streaming production systems.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $42,400.00 - 63,600.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
