Job summary

Med-Trans is seeking a Helicopter Pilot for a full-time HAA Pilot role in the United States. The position offers a strong incentives package including a 12% geographic modifier within the stated salary range and a 15K sign-on bonus.

You will operate in a high-stakes air medical transport environment. Responsibilities include coordinating with medical teams, ensuring aircraft readiness, maintaining regulatory paperwork, and training to retain required certifications.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II medical certificate required.
• Minimum flight hours as listed under minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to transport customers safely to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FAR and Med-Trans requirements; maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change info to successor pilot and team following protocol for Med-Trans change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

MinimumRequirements

• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Hours Night Unaided, or 50 Hours Unaided with 100 Hours Aided

Preferred Qualifications

• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours Preferred, Including 50 in Aircraft
• EC130 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
