Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a HAA Pilot for a full-time role in the Virginia area. The position supports medical air transport operations and requires strict adherence to flight and safety protocols.

You will work with a team of medical professionals, ensuring aircraft readiness, maintaining regulatory documentation, and coordinating with dispatch and flight crews to provide timely patient transport.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours; 1,500 helicopter hours; 1,000 helicopter PIC hours; 500 turbine hours; 100 night hours or 50 night with 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch as described in manuals, including FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours Preferred, Including 50 in Aircraft
• EC135 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
