Job summary

Med-Trans is seeking a full-time Helicopter Aircraft (HAA) Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The role requires a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical, and extensive flight hours.

You will work with a medical team to transport patients safely, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain regulatory documentation. On-going training and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II medical certificate required.
• Minimum flight hours: 2,000 total; 1,500 helicopter; 1,000 helicopter PIC; 500 turbine hours.
• Night time experience: 100 hours unaided or 50 unaided + 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients with a medical team to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, FAR/Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to the next pilot and team per Med-Trans change board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
