Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) pilot for a full-time role in Arizona to provide medical air transport for Med-Trans customers. Safety and teamwork are core pillars as you support patient relocation and emergency services.

Qualified candidates hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate, with extensive flight hours and night-time experience.

Qualifications

• Active rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating maintained and current.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,500 helicopter hours; 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• Minimum 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• Night time experience: 100 hours unaided or 50 unaided with 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a team of medical experts to and from locations safely.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and comply with FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans regulatory documentation and records accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $115,386 - $126,925 including 30% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Preferred Qualifications

• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours Preferred, Including 50 in Aircraft
• EC130 Aircraft Experience
