Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services for Med-Trans customers. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork with medical staff to move patients between locations and facilities.

Responsibilities include aircraft readiness, adherence to FAR and Med-Trans rules, and precise documentation. The package features a base in the advertised range, a $15,000 sign-on, a $12,000 float stipend, and retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours with 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 1,000 turbine hours preferred.
• 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided) required.
• Preferred experience with B407 aircraft and high school diploma or higher.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and maintain compliance with FAR/Med-Trans rules and cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $102,072 - $112,280 including 15% geo modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

• 50.00/Day Per Diem and paid travel/accommodationswhile on shift

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
