Job summary

Monarch Communities in Summit, NJ is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech) for per diem shifts. You will provide warm personal care, assist with ADLs, and help maintain accurate Resident Care Plans for our residents.

Shifts run 8:00–12:00 and 16:00–19:30, with a minimum of four shifts per month, including at least one weekend and one holiday. Qualified RN or CMA/RMA credentials are preferred, and a passion for elder care is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• RMA or CMA certification required.
• Candidate should have compassionate, resident-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care, support, and companionship to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Review and update Resident Care Plans as needs change.
• Encourage participation in community programs and activities.

Position/Job Title: Medication Technician( Med Tech)

Location: 41 Springfield Avenue, Summit, New Jersey 07901

Employment Type: Per Diem

Shift Type: 8a-12p and 4p-7:30p

Schedule Requirements

• Must be available for a minimum of 4 shifts per month
• Must be available for at least one weekend shift and one holiday shift per month

Pay Range

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
