Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to provide compassionate care for our senior residents. You will perform medication administration and daily support, ensuring residents’ well-being and safety within a community-focused environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of Medication Technician training, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• Ability to perform medication administration in accordance with State Regulations.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Observes & reports changes in residents' physical condition, cognition & emotional status to Supervisor.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months experience working with seniors in relevant settings.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Look for changes in residents' day and personal care needs to update their personal Resident Care Plan.

Salary Range: $22.00 - $22.50 Hourly

Qualifications

Physical Abilities

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
