Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC seeks a dedicated Med Tech for overnight coverage in Suffolk, VA. You will assist residents with daily living activities and administer prescribed medications under the nursing team’s supervision.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for reporting status and ensuring safety. Responsibilities include maintaining MAR accuracy, coordinating with families and pharmacy, and participating in training and audits to uphold quality care standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license in good standing.
• Pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Pass all medication cart audits.
• Attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain EMAR/MAR documentation and Daily Log entries.
• Report resident status and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Assist residents with move-in, meals, and activities; monitor health status.
