Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Aide Course completed.
• CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must pass all medication cart audits.
• Attend 4 hours of medication administration education annually.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Administer prescribed medications within scope and document in EMAR/MAR.
• Report incidents and communicate resident status to the nursing team.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain clean resident areas.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Contribute to activity programs and assist move-in transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Attend medication trainings and complete required audits.
