Job summary

Middlefield Oaks Memory Care in Cottage Grove, OR is seeking a compassionate Med Tech to provide high-quality care to residents in our community. This part-time position offers competitive wages, training, and opportunities to grow.

You will administer medications, document changes, and support activities of daily living in a person-centered care environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, TB and CPR certifications, 1 year of caregiving experience in senior living,

Qualifications

• Must possess TB and CPR certifications as required by state.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience in senior living preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents' physician.
• Documents and reports changes and observations of residents' needs and preferences.
• Communicates with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy.
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
• Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training upon hire and annually.

• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
