Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking care aides to support residents in a welcoming senior living community. The role focuses on helping residents stay engaged, safe, and independent through daily caregiving tasks and compassionate interaction. Must have a High school diploma or equivalent and a Med Tech Certificate.

Caregiving experience (1 year) is preferred. Shifts are 7 am–3 pm or 3 pm–11 pm, with immediate hiring and starting pay at $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Caregiving: 1 year preferred.
• Med Tech Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, transportation, appointments, phone use, dining, programs).
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Effectively communicate with team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

• Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.
