Job summary

Juniper Communities in Pennsylvania is hiring Care Aides to support residents with daily living activities, safety, and independence.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, appointments, and participation in Juniper programs; you will monitor vitals and communicate with the care team and families. Weekend availability and Direct Caregivers Certification preferred are important for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Caregiving 1 year experience is preferred.
• Med Tech Certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making appointments, phone use, dining, and program participation.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Effectively communicate with other team members, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

• Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
