Job summary

Charter Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician (Med Tech) to support residents in our assisted living and memory care communities. You will handle medication administration, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with nursing staff to maintain safety and quality of life.

The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to serving seniors with dignity and respect in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician/Med Tech certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living preferred.
• CNA, caregiver, or direct care experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices.
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and company policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with medication management and safety procedures.
