Charter Senior Living in Bonham Heights, NC is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician/Med Tech to join our assisted living and memory care teams. You will support residents with daily living activities, handle medication administration, and collaborate with nursing staff to uphold safety and quality of life.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and dedicated to preserving dignity and independence for seniors.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician / Med Tech certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living preferred.
• CNA, caregiver, or direct care experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices.
• Compassionate, resident-focused attitude and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with medication management and safety procedures.
• Support a positive, team-oriented care environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
