Charter Senior Living in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician/Med Tech to support residents in assisted living and memory care communities. You will assist with ADLs, administer medications, and help implement care plans under nursing supervision.

The ideal candidate maintains meticulous medication safety practices, communicates clearly with residents and families, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician / Med Tech certification required by state regulations.
• Previous assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience preferred.
• CNA, caregiver, or direct care experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices.
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and company policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
