Qualifications

• 3 years of caregiving experience or related field.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Schedule includes every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Pass meds and administer injections per medical charts.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and practice infection control.
• Report changes in condition to supervisor promptly.
• Document medications and care activities in charts.
• Support other team members and complete required paperwork.
• Respond to call lights and assist with meals as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication is a primary responsibility along with hands-on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule, and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Follow procedures regarding documenting medications.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Complete all required documents and charting.
• Answer call lights and assess residents' needs.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
