Job summary

Harmony seeks a Med Tech to provide quality care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities and medication administration within scope of practice. The role requires completion of Medication Aide training, CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing, and strong communication skills to document in daily logs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with nursing staff, attending medication trainings, and supporting residents during meals and activities while maintaining

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Completes Medication Aide Course.
• Must hold CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Pass 2 medication observations annually and cart audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents to RN/LPN or ED as appropriate.
• Perform housekeeping duties and clean common areas as directed.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist residents in transfers to dining and activities.
• Check attendance at meals and activities and monitor health status.
• Communicate resident status and appointments in writing and daily log.
