Job summary

Sunflower Springs of Lake Wylie seeks a compassionate Med-Tech to support residents and families in delivering quality care. You will supervise self‑administration of medications, assist with ADLs, meals, and daily living activities, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

You will interact with residents at all levels of care with empathy and respect, observe health and emotional changes, and support training of new staff as needed, while following HIPAA rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–2 years related experience.
• Med-Tech certification required.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Supervises self-administration of medication for residents.
• Assist with ADLs, meals, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Engage with residents with empathy and respect.
• Observe health and emotional well-being; report changes.
• Serve meals and assist in dining rooms at all meals.
• Maintain clean, safe, and dignified living environment.
