Job summary
Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with medications for residents. The role requires CNAs and Med Tech licensure, high school diploma, and ability to lift 50 lbs. You will support daily living activities, respond to emergencies, and participate in training sessions.
The position offers a structured work environment with standard shifts, opportunities for development, and a focus on resident well-being and safety.
Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
- Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
- Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Report incidents and care concerns to RN/LPN or ED.
- Perform housekeeping and keep areas clean as directed.
- Respond to resident calls for assistance and emergencies.
- Plan and conduct resident activity programs.
- Communicate resident status and information in writing and verbally.
- Assist new residents with move-in transition and emotional support.
- Complete medication cart audits and maintain the cart.
- Document medication administration in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
