Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living's The Neighborhood at Vestavia Hills is seeking Med Techs to join their team. The role supports resident wellness, administers medications, and provides leadership in daily care.

Shift details 2pm to 10pm, Mon-Fri; every other weekend. The ideal candidate is a certified Medication Aide with at least one year of eldercare experience and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Medication Aide with state requirements.
• Minimum of one year of experience caring for elders or disabled individuals.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents through assessment/PSP.
• Ensures proper follow through and documentation for changes in clinical care.
• Supports Wellness Nurse with completing clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSP.
• Informs Wellness Director/Executive Director of changes in medication or service levels.
• Assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly.
• Assist with resident care as needed.
