Job summary

Leisure Living - Grand Village Assisted Living and Memory Care in Grandville, MI, is hiring a Caregiver/Med Tech to provide comfort, safety and supervision. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, administer medications, and help ensure individualized care plans are followed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 30 days). The role offers on-site work, growth opportunities, and shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.
• Review incoming medication orders for accuracy and update eMAR accordingly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as outlined in service plans.
• Answer resident call lights and alarms promptly.
• Observe and report changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care.
• Order/re-order medications to ensure adequate supply.
• Complete daily charting and documentation as required.
• Obtain resident weights and vitals.
• Participate in training new employees as requested.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and areas per schedule.
• Assist with meal setup and cleanup.
