Job summary

Riley's Grove Assisted Living in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Caregiver / Med Tech to provide comfort, safety and daily living assistance, administer medications and learn each resident's preferences. The role requires a high school diploma/GED, CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days, and basic computer skills.

Starting wage is $17.50 per hour with room to grow, plus Wages On-Demand access and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
• Microsoft Office in a Windows environment.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments
• Review incoming medication orders for accuracy and update eMAR
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plans
• Respond to resident call lights, door and safety alarms promptly
• Observe and report changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care
• Order/re-order medications to maintain supply
• Complete daily charting and documentation
• Take resident weights and vitals
• Train new employees as requested
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms and common spaces
• Assist with meal setup and cleanup
• Lead or participate in activities with Life Enrichment
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors
• Remain awake and alert during shift
