Job summary

Leisure Living - Boulder Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care in Rockford, MI is seeking a compassionate care professional to assist residents with activities of daily living, administer medications per physician orders, and support safety and well-being in a home-like setting.

The role involves reviewing eMAR and physician orders, responding to call lights, assisting with meals, engaging residents in activities, and maintaining clean, safe living spaces, while documenting appropriately.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office in a Windows environment.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor with residents, families, staff and leadership.
• Confidentiality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.
• Review incoming medication orders for accuracy and update eMAR.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as outlined in service plans.
• Respond to resident call lights and alarms promptly.
• Observe and report changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care.
• Order and re-order medications to ensure adequate supply.
• Complete daily charting, documentation, and reporting as required.
• Obtain resident weights and vitals.
• Participate in training new employees.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common spaces.
• Assist with meal setup and cleanup.
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
