Job summary

Wheatland Village in Walla Walla, WA is seeking Medication/Caregiver staff to ensure residents receive medications as prescribed and follow care plans.

Full-time Memory Care position with overnight shift 9:30 pm–6:00 am; competitive pay $18.50–$24.72 per hour plus benefits such as PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Certification as a CNA or HHA is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience or certification in Medication Assistance.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or available on hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Follow resident care plans and physician orders for safety.
• Ensure resident safety and well-being while meeting standards.
• Collaborate with care team and document appropriately.

Description

Medication/Caregiver staff at Wheatland Village are responsible for ensuring residents receive medication as prescribed by their physicians. They follow resident care plans and physician orders to ensure resident safety and well-being while complying with all Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. They incorporate Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Full-time in Memory Care, from 9:30 pm - 6:00 am
• Availability for weekends/holidays preferred

Requirements:

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience & certification in Medication Assistance are necessary.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient.
