Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care, monitor vitals, support mobility, and ensure patient safety on heart monitors.

This full-time night shift role requires CNA and BLS at hire and offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow within Prime Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Basic patient care including ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating).
• Vital signs monitoring: blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate, SpO2.
• Mobility assistance: help patients get in/out of bed, walk, use assistive devices.
• EKG lead maintenance: ensure telemetry monitors are connected and functioning; alarms escalated to RN.
• Observation: monitor for changes and notify nursing staff promptly.
