Job summary

Qualifications

• Current valid State Registered Nurse License.
• BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience as staff RN in acute care hospital (critical care preferred).
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect changes or abnormalities.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including IV and cardiac meds.
• Perform assessments of patients' cardiac status and review medical histories.
• Provide education to patients and families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and self-care.
• React promptly to cardiac emergencies, including CPR and defibrillation as needed.
