Job summary

At Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (DH-YRMC), you will serve as a Med Surg Tele Nurse providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform comprehensive assessments, plan and implement care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent.
• One year acute care RN experience.
• Valid compact state or Arizona RN license.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certificate.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certificate.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection in an on-going systematic manner focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; includes nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement and patient advocacy.
• Formulates a goal-directed plan of care prioritized on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
• Implements care in a thorough, skillful and consistent manner.
• Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential needs and unit resources.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by health care team members.
• Effectively communicates with patients, staff and providers.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associate's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
• One (1) year acute care RN experience
• Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certificate
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certificate

Preferred

• One (1) year of pediatric RN experience
• Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
• American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support certificate
