Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent is required.
• One year of acute care RN experience is required.
• Valid compact state or Arizona RN license is required.
• American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certificates are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; includes nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement and advocacy.
• Formulates a goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
• Implements care in a thorough, skillful and consistent manner.
• Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources.
• Effectively communicates with patients, staff and providers.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associates degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
• One (1) year acute care RN experience
• Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certificate
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate

Preferred

• One (1) year of pediatric RN experience
• Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
• American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support certificate
