Job summary

Dignity Health - Yavapai Regional Medical Center (DH-YRMC), now part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Med Surg Tele RN in Prescott Valley, AZ. You will provide compassionate, high-quality care, perform assessments, plan care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

  • Implements care thoroughly, skillfully, and consistently.
  • Sets priorities for patient care based on needs and resources.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by the health care team.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, staff and providers.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Med Surg Tele Nurse, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.   • Performs assessment/data collection in an on-going systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement and patient advocacy
  • Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes
  • Implements care in a thorough, skillful and consistent manner
  • Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies
  • Evaluates effectiveness of care given by health care team members
  • Effectively communicates with patients, staff and providers

We are offering $10,000 in relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Associate's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
  • One (1) year acute care RN experience
  • Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certificate
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certificate

Preferred

  • One (1) year of pediatric RN experience
  • Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support certificate
