Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's YRMC Prescott site seeks a Float Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across two facilities. You will perform comprehensive assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires AZ RN licensure, 2+ years of RN experience, and current certifications (AHA, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC/ATCN/TCRN/TNATC within 12 months).

Qualifications

• RN with AZ license and 2 years of general RN care experience
• AHA, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• TNCC/ATCN/TCRN/TNATC within 12 months must be completed
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing systematic assessments and data collection across physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive domains.
• Develop and implement goal-directed care plans based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
• Deliver thorough, skillful, and consistent nursing care.
• Prioritize patient care needs considering unit resources and staffing.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and communicate with the care team.

*Job Summary and Responsibilities*

As our Float Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float Team, you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports our patients' well-being and recovery, with a positive attitude and reliability.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You will be expected to collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

• Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.
• Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
• Implements care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner.
• Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care given by health care team members.
• Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers.
• This position floats to 2 levels of care in 1-2 facilities and is paid a 15% differential (of the base hourly rate).*
• We are offering $10k relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. *
