This position floats to three levels of care in one to two facilities, offering a 20% differential on the base hourly rate. It also includes $10,000 in relocation assistance. - Performs assessment and data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status, as well as nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.
- Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
- Implements care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner.
- Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential needs and available unit resources (time, personnel, equipment, and supplies).
- Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by health‑care team members.
- Communicates effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
Job Requirements
- Two years of general RN care experience.
- Associate degree in Nursing or foreign equivalent.
- Valid compact state or Arizona RN license.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification for the healthcare provider.
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to the Emergency Department or caring for patients under eight years of age.
- Demonstrated competency in basic EKG skills (passing an EKG test or completing a basic EKG class/modules within six months of hire).
Preferred
- Two years of experience in medical/surgical, progressive care, or critical care settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or foreign equivalent.
